I use this looping pliers constantly. My best sellers at craft shows are earrings. I get a uniform size loop on every head pin. After the loop is made, I tighten it up with a round nose pliers. I have the two bigger size loopers which do come in handy now and then. But this one is perfect when you’re working with beads on wire. It’s great for making beaded chain too. Use this for making loops on standard head pins or 18 g. wire. It’s not meant for fine head pins or 20g. wire. With the thinner wires you’ll be making a wire wrapped collar around the wire and you need the tail of the wire for wrapping. The looper cuts off that tail.
